You need to be on Samsung One UI version 4.1, as the GOS service throttles the performance of the device. In the latest update, One UI 4.1, the company has made an option to disable the GOS service. Here’s how to disable it.

How to switch off GOS

  1. Open Game Launcher
  2. Tap More
  3. Tap Game Booster
  4. Tap Labs
  5. Enable Alternate Game Performance Management

GOS is a little more aggressive than how the CPU will throttle performance when pushed to its thermal limit. Even if you disable GOS, your CPU will not be running at maximum performance all of the time, maybe for just a few minutes. You may want to keep a charger nearby for this.
