People remotely control their MacBooks to check on them or run things faster on a slow MacBook. Here’s how to do it without installing anything.
How to do it
- Open System Preferences
- Click Sharing
- Enable Remote Login
- Enable Remote Management
- That’s it!

You can do this by doing the following steps:
- Open Finder
- Click Network
- Click the computer you would like to remotely control
- Click Share Screen and enter the username and password of the computer
- That’s it
You do have to make sure that you have the computer on, as in awake.
